Release status
The smallest useful core is working. Release proof is not finished.
This page separates implemented behaviour from planned product scope. Nanny Invoice is not yet available on the App Store.
Implemented and covered by automated tests
- Care-arrangement setup with owner, parent collaborator and caregiver roles.
- Planned shifts and manual actual-work entry.
- Deterministic gross-pay calculation from time, rates and supported kilometres.
- Draft, submitted, changes requested, resubmitted and approved timesheet states.
- Issued snapshots, parent payment recording and caregiver receipt confirmation.
- Explicit adjustment records for post-issue corrections.
- Protected local snapshots and owner-private CloudKit synchronisation.
Built, but still needs end-to-end device proof
- Owner-created, recipients-only iCloud share invitations.
- Invitation acceptance and correct shared-database routing.
- Participant onboarding and role presentation across two Apple accounts.
- Conflict and recovery behaviour on real devices under ordinary household use.
Required before a public version-one release
- Recurring shifts, reusable shift types and caregiver timer entry.
- Detailed shared history and year-to-date totals.
- Polished PDF documents and spreadsheet ledger export.
- Role-aware onboarding, caregiver profiles, support and final privacy controls.
- Accessibility, resilience, performance and App Store release checks.
Version-one boundaries
Employee mode stops at hours, gross pay, payment records and year-to-date gross totals. The app will not calculate withholding, employer contributions or net pay, file taxes, move money, send payroll emails or claim broad multi-country compliance. Each household remains responsible for professional advice and external payment.
Current alternative
The separate Nanny Payroll Google workflow remains the live operational product while the native app is being completed.
